ARA Designations were earned by...Richard Bell, ARA; Jaime Bigham, ARA; Arthur Bliss, ARA; Vanessa Frazier, ARA; Jerry Furtado, ARA; Tiffany Holmes, ARA; Richard Mercier, ARA; Michael Merkley, ARA; Matt Pennebaker, ARA; Robbin Peterson, ARA; Allison Renz, ARA; Anthony Toso, ARA; Kristin Vieira, ARA; and JoAnn Wall, ARA. The chapter recipient of the RPRA Designation was Erik Roget, ARA, RPRA. 63 ARAs and 11 RPRA were recognized overall.

The California Chapter welcomes Nat DiBuduo, AFM, President of Allied Grape Growers to the Executive Board for 2008-2009. Michael G. Ming, ARA, of Alliance Appraisal in Bakersfield was installed as President of the organization. The chapter's annual Installation and Awards Banquet was held in conjunction with the group's Fall Conference on October 3rd at The Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach.
