Description
This livestream seminar is a presentation of the California Chapter, ASFMRA, led by Stacie Ann Silva of Altum Aqua Logic, LLC. It offers a detailed look at the seven California subbasins whose Groundwater Sustainability Plans have been deemed inadequate by the Department of Water Resources; two of which have been placed on probation by the State Water Resource Control Board. The seminar provides a detailed understanding of the status of the Chowchilla, Delta-Mendota, Kaweah, Kern County, Pleasant Valley, Tulare Lake and Tule Subbasins, their challenges, and potential management actions offering a deeper understanding of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and its impact on these seven areas.
