Don’t miss this year’s Ag Tour at the Fall Meeting! We’ll start with a continental breakfast and get an overview of the history of the Carson Valley. We will then head to Yerington where the first stop will be Peri & Sons Farms – a thriving operation that produces over 500 million pounds of onions each year. Following a detailed tour and delicious, authentic Mexican lunch we will move on to Desert Hills Dairy. The individuals at Desert Hills are very forward thinking and dynamic, running a successful operation with a great story to tell. Time permitting on the way back to Minden, we will make a quick stop in Historic Genoa, home to Nevada’s oldest ‘thirst parlor’. Hopefully there will be time for an afternoon refreshment at the Genoa Bar, established in 1853.
